My galvanised trough sculptures are designed to integrate into a garden as a bird bath and plant divider.
I endeavour to communicate the reassuring indifference that a body of water feels towards humanity. This otherness forms the backdrop for the copper elements to flow through. I am interested to explore how physical fitness influences our appreciation of landscape. How the limitations of our bodies anchor us to space and time in contrast to the blur in perception that results in our dependence on technology to aid us to move.Â
I try to celebrate humble plants and animals by depicting an elevated segment of their environment.
